Considering the changes in advertising and media in the last three-and-a-half decades, it is comforting to know that some familiar names will be with us for generations to come.

This week, Adweek celebrates its 35th anniversary and aptly features advertising legacies. On the COVER is the Berger family -- industry vet Ron Berger, flanked by sons Cory Berger, Pereira O'Dell NY Managing Director (left) and his brother Ryan Berger, Founder/Chief Creative Officer, Berger Shop (right).

The article reads “… Both Berger sons were inspired by their father’s entrepreneurial drive and his determination, as the founder of Advertising Week, to make the business attractive to young people. Growing up watching commercial shoots proved an irresistible draw. Says dad: “Everything Ryan and Cory learned about advertising before 2000, they learned from me—everything I’ve learned since 2000, I learned from them.”
